Hip Hop Film Festival’s 2020 BEST DIRECTOR Winner Will Get A Chance To Direct An Episodic On NBC!

The Hip Hop Film Festival continues on its mission to provide unique opportunities to filmmakers from the culture. Known as the only festival to focus on filmmakers who grew up in the culture of Hip Hop, the festival has found its wings by presenting stories from the culture from every genre and presenting it on a global scale.

Many of the festival winners have gone on to major distribution deals with NETFLIX, REVOLT RED BULL TV, AMAZON and more.. but now the biggest name in small screens has entered the ring, recognizing the power of the festival’s untapped talent.

NBC Universal is offering the winner of this season’s Best Director category a lunch with one of the head network honchos and the chance to direct an episodic for television.
